Vincent was a four year varsity performer in both basketball and football. In 1931, he made the All-Maryland Selection of Halfback. He officiated high school and college football for 27 years. The four year starter led the Greyhounds to the State Championship in 1930-31. He was the leading scorer in the Maryland Intercollegiate League and the All-Conference Selecton for two straight years. He was named Honorary Member of the National Basketball Association. Vincent, a four year veteran of the Navy, operates the Vincent Carlin Insurance Company. He and his wife, Geraldine, reside in Baltimore, Maryland.
