An outstanding fullback who often shadowed the opposition's top scorer, he helped the Greyhounds to a 49-13-2 mark during his four-year career. He earned All-America honors during his senior season of 1975. A tri-captain that year, he was chosen All Mason-Dixon Conference and All South. After competing in the 1975 Senior Bowl, he was c hosen in the first round of the North American Soccer League draft by the Miami Toros.
