From 1984 through 1987, David Gately dominated Loyola basketball, leading the Greyhounds through four straight winning seasons. At the time of his induction Gately held second place in the Loyola Division I all-time scorer category with 1,706 career points, and was twice named Second Team All-ECAC Metro Conference in both the 1985-86 and 1986-87 seasons.
