INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Description:  Loyola University Maryland is accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Fall and Spring semesters.  Loyola University Maryland currently sponsor 18 Division I Varsity intercollegiate athletic programs.  The successful candidates will be required to schedule and maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week with the Strength and Conditioning Department.  The program is designed for both the post bachelor young professional looking for experience.  The daily responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs; for assigned teams. 
2. Teaching student athletes proper techniques and equipment use. 
3. Attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities. 
4. Assisting with annual budget, inventory, and other administrative duties. 

5. Work directly with our club sports programs as the primary strength and conditioning coordinator.

Qualifications:
  Required: must have a strong work ethic and have a desire to become a Strength & Conditioning professional.  Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree, and certification from all or one of the following:  NSCA CSCS, CSCCA SCCC, USAW, NASM PES, or ACSM HFI.
