Bullock Named To All-MAAC 2nd Team; 5 Earn All-Academic

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Loyola University Maryland junior middle blocker Jac Bullock (Aubrey, Texas/Aubrey H.S.) was named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Second Team on Friday night at the MAAC Awards Banquet.
Bullock finished the 2012 regular-season at the top of the league in hitting percentage, hitting .337 in the Greyhounds' 28 matches.
She averaged 3.15 kills per set, tops amongst the MAAC's middle blockers during the year, putting away 340 kills with just 84 errors in 759 attempts.
Her 2012 season statistics represented a significant improvement over a year ago when she was named the team's Most Valuable Player. As a sophomore, she had 2.23 kills per set and hit .229 for the Greyhounds.
This season, Bullock posted 10 or more kills in 22 of the Greyhound's 28 matches, including a stretch of 14 in a row during the middle of the year. She hit higher than .400 in seven matches during the season with five of those games over .500.
Bullock also led the Greyhounds in blocking this year, averaging 0.74 per set with 80 total, and she topped the team and was fifth in the league in service aces per set (0.34).
