The Greyhounds:
• Loyola sits 2-4 overall in the 2017 season.
• The Greyhounds were downed by UNCW, 3-0, Davidson, 3-0, and Appalachian State, 3-1, in the Springhill Suites Mayfaire Invitational.
• Loyola lost in a close match to La Salle, 3-2, but defeated Akron, 3-1, and Tennessee Tech, 3-1, at the Akron Invitational.
Eleven players return from the 2016 roster, including its leaders in kills (Ann Ernst, 326, 3.54/set), blocks (Haley Puddy, 84), blocks per set (Molly Jarvis, 0.81), assists (Molly Werts, 389) and digs (Erin Cunningham, 241, 4.08).
• Loyola welcomed five freshmen for the 2017 season.

Scouting the Blue Hose:
• The Blue Hoes are 2-4 overall in the 2017 season.
• Presbyterian College fell to Georgia, 3-0, LIU Brooklyn, 3-1, and George Mason, 3-0, at the Benson Hospitality Invitational.
• They lost to UNCG, 1-3, but beat Delaware State, 3-0, and North Carolina A&T at the Spartan-Aggie Invitational.
• A new libero and setter joined the team as freshmen.

Scouting the Lady Bears:
• The Lady Bears are 1-5 overall in the 2017 season.
• They lost to Wake Forest, 3-0, UNC Greensboro, 3-0, and UMASS Lowell, 3-1, at the Spartan-Demon Classic.
• The Lady Bears lost to Southeast Missouri State, 3-0, and Evansville, 3-2, before beating the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 3-1, in the Redhawks Invitational.
• Morgan State added six newcomers to their roster as well as returning eight players.

Scouting the Retrievers:
• UMBC is 1-5 overall in the 2017 season.
• The team downed Temple, 3-1, but fell to Maryland, 3-1, and Northeastern, 3-1, at the Maryland Invite.
• They went 0-3 on matches and won no sets at the Ameritas PLayer’s Challenge with losses to Nebraska, 3-0, St. Mary’s (Cal.), 3-0, and Oral Roberts, 3-0.
• The Retrievers added six freshmen to their roster and welcomed back 12 returners.
