Baltimore, Md. - Three Greyhounds hit the double-digit kills mark as Loyola bounced back from a Game One loss to win three straight and defeat Delaware State by a score of 3-1 in a non-conference match on Thursday night at Reitz Arena.

The Hornets took advantage of some sloppy Loyola play in Game One to win 30-25, but the Greyhounds cleaned up their act and evened the match with a 30-23 win in Game Two.

Loyola dominated Games Three and Four, winning Game Three 30-18 and Game Four 30-14. The 'Hounds played great defense in both games as they held Delaware State to a -.125 hitting percentage in Game Three and a -.097 hitting percentage in Game Four. At the same time, the Greyhounds averaged nearly a .300 hitting percentage themselves in the final two games.

Becky Corb led Loyola with a match-high 23 kills on a .348 hitting percentage, while Christina Greenup chipped in with 14 kills and Blair Snyder added 10 kills on a .364 hitting percentage. Christine Lopez turned in six kills, but made her biggest contribution on the defensive end with one solo block and five block assists. Krystal Biegaj dished out a match-high 53 assists for the Greyhounds.

Loyola's record improves to 8-16 overall with the win while Delaware State falls to 13-21. Tonight's match was Loyola's final non-conference showdown of the season.

The Greyhounds return to action on Saturday, November 6 at 3:30 p.m. when they host Niagara in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) match.
