Strong Hitting Effort Paces Greyhounds in Victory Over Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. - Four Loyola College hitters finished with 12 or more kills, as the Greyhounds beat host Holy Cross, 30-23, 30-24, 25-30, 19-30, 15-9, in the second match of the Crusader Classic.
Karlee Woodward hit over .500 for the second-straight match, finishing with a season-high 18 kills. She led the Greyhounds (5-6) with a .538 hitting percentage, registering her 18 kills with only four errors in 26 attempts.
Nina Camaioni added 14 kills and a team-high 16 digs.
Christina Greenup saw her first action of the season and logged 13 kills for the Loyola attack. She also had 10 digs.
Rachel Schillinger recorded 12 kills and a match-high six blocks.
The Greyhounds were solid on the block, as well against the Crusaders (3-6). The team finished with 13 total blocks, led by Schilligner. Woodward and Greenup each had four total blocks, and Anastasia Collins was in on five.
Chrissey Cruz had 53 assists, 10 digs and two total blocks.
Loyola closes competition at the invitational with a 4:30 p.m. match against Coppin State.
