Rich Zwolinski spent the 2007 season as the head coach at Coppin State after spending 2006 as an assistant at the cross-town school.

In addition to his overall oversight of the program, Zwolinski recruited all student-athletes and monitored their academic and athletic progress at the school.

Zwolinski began his coaching career in 2002 as an assistant coach at Old Mill High School in Millersville, Md. In 2003, he continued to coach the Patriots while serving as a head boys' volleyball coach at Annapolis Area Christian School.

In 2004, he became the head coach at Old Mill, a position he held until taking his assistant coaching position at Coppin State.

A Maryland native, Zwolinski graduated from Broadneck High School in Arnold, Md., in 1996.

He earned his bachelor's degree in math from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County in 2001 and is a teacher at Old Mill. He also received his master's degree in computer science from Loyola.
