2012 (Freshman): Was the Greyhounds' top hitter as a freshman... Played in all 31 matches and started 30... One of two players, along with Lauren Andersen, to play in all 112 sets... Posted 112 kills, an average of 2.71 per set... Also added 231 digs, second-most on the team... Earned All-Tournament honors at Clemson's Big Orange Bash, averaging 9.67 kills per match in the three contests... Had 11 against South Carolina State and then notched her first collegiate double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs against Tennessee State... Posted 18 kills, a number that would stand up as her season-high, against Morgan State... Put away 17 kills and had 15 digs in a win at Lafayette... Had 10 kills against TCU and then eight against both Villanova and Colgate... Logged 16 kills and 14 digs in the Greyhounds' MAAC opener against Siena and had 13 a day later versus Marist... Posted 15 kills in just three sets at Saint Peters... Had 11 kills to go with 13 digs at Rider in a three-set win... Had back-to-back matches with 15 and 14 kills in wins against Saint Peter's and Rider in November, earning MAAC Rookie of the Week honors following those outings.

Before Loyola: Earned four letters in volleyball at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa... Inducted to the Plant Hall of Fame... Named to the St. Petersburg Times All-County First Team following her senior season in 2010 after earning second team in 2009... Earned All-Suncoast Second Team and Tampa Tribune All-County laurels, as well, in 2010... Tabbed to the All-Western Conference First Team as a senior and Seocnd Team as a junior... Received the Hillsborough County Kirkwood Award for Character and Leadership in 2010... Helped the Panters win four-straight state titles from 2007-2010... The team also won the Gatortown Classic in 2009 and took third place in the Nike Challenge that same season... Played club volleyball for Tampa United with fellow Loyola player Lauren Andersen.

Personal: Christina Frances Catanach... Born in Tampa... Daughter of Chris and Linda Catanach... Has one older sister, Kellie, who is a volleyball player at Duke University... Father is the head volleyball coach at the University of Tampa where he led the Spartans to the 2006 NCAA Division II Championship, as well as 19 Sunshine State Conference titles and 25 appearances in the NCAA Division II Championships... Member of the Social Studies Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Beta Honor Society and La Sertoa Service Club in high school... Was an AP scholar with honors in 2010 and 2011.
