Loyola played UMBC on September 7 in the Radisson Greyhound Challenge.

Before Loyola: Led Covenant Life School in Gaithersburg, Md., win its first-ever Maryland Christian School Tournament (MCST) in the fall of 2012, earning All-Tournament Team honors in the process... Named to the All-Potomac Valley Athletic Conference First Team in 2011 and 2012, and she garnered All-County Second Team laurels from the Montgomery Gazette in 2012 and honorable mention in 2011... Captain of her team as a junior and senior... Helped the Cougars win the PVAC title all four years she played at Covenant Life... Played club for Metro American Volleyball Club 18 Travel squad, helping her team win the CHRVA Regional Championship in 2013 and the MAPL title.

Personal: Kelly Grace McShea... Daughter of Joe and Donna McShea... Has three younger brothers, Joey, Timothy and Kyle... Was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior and was a member of the honor roll all four years of high school... Served as editor-in-chief of the school's yearbook as a senior...
