2011 (Junior): Led the team in digs with 363 and an average of 3.67 per game... Served as the team's primary libero for the majority of the season after returning from an injury... Had 18 games with 10 or more digs, 12 with 15 or more... Logged a career-best 30 digs to open MAAC action against Siena... Had 21 digs a day later versus Marist... Averaged 21 digs over a four-match stretch, including the MAAC-opening weekend and matches against American and at Manhattan... Earned MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on October 11 ater recording 23 digs in just three sets at Rider... Closed the season with five-straight matches of 11 digs or more, four in a row with 15 or better.

2010 (Sophomore): Team co-captain... Played in 16 matches... Had six digs against George Mason (9/7) and four versus Lehigh (9/11)... Also posted four against Marist in MAAC action (10/3).

2009 (Freshman): Played in 120 sets, starting 27 of 33 matches... Athletic player that with the ability to play several positions and contribute from anywhere on the court... Recorded 120 kills for an average of 1.00 per set as an outside hitter... Defensively, posted 170 digs and averaged 1.42 per set and also registered 23 blocks... Posted double-digit digs in six matches... Registered a .934 serve-receive clip which was the best mark of all regular players... Opened the season with five kills, nine digs and a block at Robert Morris (8/28)... Also was nearly perfect on serve-receive with just one error in 24 receptions... Put in another five kills and recorded 12 digs to close out the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational in the final game against Radford (8/29)... Matched both of those career-bests at Siena to open conference play (9/19)... Recorded two aces and made a single error in 40 receptions the following day at Marist (9/20)... Recorded a career-high 13 digs at Iona and also contributed a then- career-high seven kills (9/27)... Matched her career high with 13 digs against Niagara and went a perfect 41-for-41 in the back row on serve-receive... Totaled 11 kills on a season- and career-high .435 hitting while also putting in a career-high three aces at Fairfield (11/17)... Had 10 digs and two blocks at Manhattan (10/4)... Put in 12 digs and two blocks at home against the Jaspers (11/8)... Played well again against Fairfield with a career-high 14 kills, six digs and two blocks (11/7).

High School: Three-year letter winner in volleyball at LaSalle Academy (R.I.) for coach Jadine Ferri... Helped lead the Rams to the 2005 and 2006 NCHSAA State titles and the 2007 and 2008 RIIL State titles... Was a 2009 Cox Sports Award nominee senior season... Was named all-state by the Providence Journal as a junior and a senior... Two-time LaSalle Academy Athletics Volleyball MVP in 2008-2009... Named Coaches Association first-team all-state and all-division in 2007... Voted as a junior in 2007 RIIL State Tournament MVP in 2007... Played club volleyball for Blast Volleyball Academy under coach Diane Short... Also lettered one year in lacrosse... Received first and second academic honors... Member of the Rhode Island National Honor Society.

Personal: Janet Lynn Pressler... Born in Durham, N.C... Daughter of Susan and Michael Pressler... Michael is men's head lacrosse coach at Bryant University... Has one younger sister, Maggie... Volunteers at a retirement home in her spare time.
