A four-year standout at Villa Julie College, Jessica Bensley enters her second year as an assistant coach for the Greyhounds during the 2007 season. Jessica helped lead the Greyhounds to a 10-26 record during her first year with the program.
A 2006 graduate of Villa Julie College, Bensley ended her career with 991 kills, including a team-high and school-record 460 kills during her senior season.
A two-time first-team All-North East Athletic Conference honoree, she was named as the conference's Player of the Year as a senior in 2005 after helping the Mustangs reach the conference championship match.
Bensley served as a two-year team captain and was named Villa Julie's Most Outstanding Female Athlete for 2005-2006. She was also the College's nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award.
In addition to her talents on the court, Bensley has served as an assistant coach for the TimeOut Volleyball Club since 2004.
Bensley is currently studying at the University of Baltimore and is on pace to earn her master's degree in the Spring of 2008.
