Trainer Honored as MAAC Student-Athlete Of The Week

EDISON, N.J. - Loyola University Maryland senior Megan Trainer has been honored for her work in the classroom and on the track, being named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Student Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Trainer helped Loyola’s 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams to third-place finishes and All-MAAC honors at the conference championships this past weekend. She also helped the 4x100 squad break the school record, combining for a time of 49.86.
Individually, she finished seventh in the 400m with a personal-best time of 1:00.32, bringing her two-day point total to 14 points.
Trainer was also recently recognized as Loyola’s indoor track and field Most Dedicated Performer at the department’s annual banquet.
