Harrison Qualifies For The ECAC Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. - Senior Kiera Harrison made her debut performance in the 10K, to represent Loyola University Maryland track and field at the Penn Relays.
Harrison finished 12th out of 27 competitors, with an ECAC qualifying time of 36:10.71. The distance runner broke the program record by nearly a minute, which was previously held by Amanda Bossi back in 2010 with a time of 37:03.66.
Junior Courtney Willeford was the only other Greyhound to compete at the event, finishing 12th in the college women's heptathlon.
Harrison will receive an invitation to the ECAC Championships in Princeton, N.J., on May 10-12.
