April 18, 2005
Truncellito, a senior running in one of her final regular season meets, won the 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:10. Rovegno ran another excellent 1500 with her time of 4:37.
The 4 x 800 team of Rovegno, Allison Riley, Bethany Gentry, and Shannon Gillespie set a new school record in the event with their time of 10:33 - good for a second place finish. Loyola's Distance Medley Relay team of Truncellito, Rovegno, Sarah Spencer, and Bridget Scanlan also set a new school record as they ran a time of 13:22 to take a silver medal.
"I was really happy with our girls' performance on Saturday," said Head Coach Julie Culley. "We had a lot of people double and triple and still produce quality times."
