BALTIMORE - Ten Loyola University Maryland athletes notched personal bests and one school was set at the 2012 Loyola-Johns Hopkins Invitational on warm and sunny Saturday at the Johns Hopkins/Loyola Track & Field Complex in Baltimore, Md.
The Greyhounds enjoyed strong performances across the board, and had plenty of support from the Loyola community in the team's lone home meet of the year.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Kelly Maguire, Gabrielle Cocco, Emily Doucette and Jackie D'Antonio highlighted the day for the Greyhounds, notching a first-place finish in a time 9:27.94, almost 14 seconds ahead of second-place Johns Hopkins.
