Porter Sets School Record On Day One Of Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - In her second-consecutive appearance at the Colonial Relays, junior Jacqueline Porter set a school record in the 400m hurdles to lead Loyola University Maryland's track and field team in Williamsburg, Va.
Porter took 22nd in the event with a time of 1:05.69, breaking her previous record of 1:06.77. Last season, the Mentor, Ohio, native also finished 22nd, breaking the program record with a time of 1:07.41.
Two Greyhounds recorded personal bests, including rookie Eileen Pastyrnak. The freshman sprinter beat her personal best, in the 100m dash heats, by 0.13 seconds. Pastyrnak crossed the finish line at 12.94.
Junior Kiera Harrison was the final Greyhound to improve her PR, recording a personal best in the 1500m final, with a time of 4:45.90.
Loyola will continue the second day of Colonial Relay action on Saturday, April 6. Events begin at 10 a.m.
