D'Antonio Advances To Final Round Of ECAC Indoor Championships

BOSTON - With a school record of 2:52.17, senior Jackie D'Antonio qualified for the final round of the ECAC Championships in the 1,000m Saturday evening in the Track and Tennis Center at Boston University.
D’Antonio qualified for the ECAC Championships on January 11, when the senior finished the New York City Gotham Cup with a time of 2:54.69. Saturday evening, the distance runner skimmed almost two seconds off her personal record to advance to the final.
Teammate Kiera Harrison finished 21st in the 5,000m, with a time of 17:15.15. The junior distance runner qualified for the event after running 17:10.20, at the MAAC Championships two weeks ago.
Army’s Lisa Junta was the top finisher in the 5,000m, with a final time of 16:31.03.
D’Antonio will run in the 1,000m final Sunday, March 3 at 1:40 p.m.
