4x800 Relay Team Sets School Record, Qualifies For ECAC Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Loyola University Maryland's 4x800-meter relay team set an indoor school record on Saturday at the Fasttrack Last Chance meet and in turn qualified for next weekend's ECAC Championships.

The Greyhounds foursome of Audrey O'Neill, MaryEllen Woods, Cordelia McGinn and Senna Ohlsson ran 9:14.18 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

O'Neill led off with a time of 2:1.65, and Woods followed with a split of 2:18.09. McGinn ran her half-mile leg in 2:16.24, and Ohlsson closed the race with an 800-meter leg of 2:18.20.

The quartet broke the record of 9:18.72 set last season by Woods, Megan Crilly, Kayleigh Caggiano and McGinn.
