Princeton, N.J. - Megan Trainer and Kristina Krupa set school records as the Loyola University Maryland women's track and field team competed at the Princeton Relays in Princeton, N.J. , on Saturday.

Trainer had a weight throw of 33-1 3/4 to break the previous school record of 30-4 set by Melanie Mitchell at the Navy Blue and Gold Meet in 2008. Trainer's teammate Angeline Diamond had a throw of 32-10 1/2, which broke the school record first by Trainer threw after Diamond.

In the 300 meters, Kristina Krupa set a new school record with a time of 44.79. She broke the time of 45.32 set by Brittany McDonald in 2007 at the Princeton New Year's Invitational. Also in the 300 meters, Marissa Buccellato had a time of 45.95 and Casey Carey had a time of 45.84.

In the long jump, Kelsey Burke had a mark of 14-8 3/4 and Claire Okrongly had a jump of 14-4. In the triple jump, Marci Baileys had a mark of 33-10 3/4.

In the 400 meters, Krupa had a time of 1:03.81, Buccellato finished with a time of 1:04.13, Trainer had a time of 1:03.20, Jacqueline Porter finished with a time of 1:04.62, Casey Carey had a time of 1:05.88, Kelsey Burke finished with a time of 1:06.71, Claire Okrongly had a time of 1:09.81 and Brittany Gruber finished with a time of 1:12.87.

Other competitors at the Princeton Relays were Courtney Willeford (60m, 8.49), Chika Dunga (60m, 8.49), Angeline Diamond (60m, 8.79), Samantha Westley (60m-Hurdles, 10.08), Courtney Marro (60m-Hurdles, 10.27), Calli Pappas (Mile, 5:34,58 & 500m, 1:32.34), Carolanne Chanik (Mile, 5:43.41), Margaret Larkin (Mile, 5:54.43), Brianne Vozzella (500m, 1:25.69 & 1,000m, 3:20.07), Claire Reynolds (800m, 2:44.58), Katie Laffey (1,000m, 3:26.03), Victoria Szczawinski (3,000m, 10:45.37), Emily Rooney (3,000m, 11:15.58), Rachel Nerenberg (3,000m, 11:46.03) and Meagan Keane (3,000m, 12:10.56).

The Greyhounds will compete next Saturday at the Patriot Games in Fairfax, Va.
