Women's Soccer Spring Schedule Features Six Match Days
BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland women's soccer has started spring practice at Ridley Athletic Complex, and the Greyhounds will play on six different days during the non-traditional season.
Ridley will be the site of five contest days, including an April 15 Alumni Game at 12 noon.
The Greyhounds open their spring competition on February 25 against James Madison University at 3 p.m., and a March 1 contest against Towson University at 7:30 p.m. follows soon thereafter.
Loyola then hosts American University on March 25 for a 2 p.m. game before traveling to Washington, D.C., for a pair of games on April 14. There, the Greyhounds play two games at George Washington University. First, Loyola takes on Virginia Tech at 3:15 p.m. before seeing action against the host Colonials at 4:30.
After the Alumni Game, the Greyhounds will host Johns Hopkins University and George Mason University on April 21. Each team will play a pair of games on the Ridley turf starting when the Greyhounds face the Blue Jays at 9 a.m. Johns Hopkins and George Mason will take the field at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Loyola-George Mason match at 12 noon.
