PHILADELPHIA, PA - Despite tying a tight game in the first half, Loyola was unable to come up with a win over the University of Pennsylvania, 3-2, in a non conference contest Wednesday afternoon. The Greyhounds are now 5-7-1 on the season while the Quakers stay undefeated at home and 6-2-3 overall.

The Quakers then got the opportunity to make the game, 2-0, in the 22nd minute when Cross was taken down in the box causing a penalty kick. Sophomore Robin Watson converted the free kick on a shot over the shoulder of Loyola goalkeeper Kate Gilfillan.

Loyola would score the equalizer less than ten minutes later, when Ashley Kramer sent a penalty kick past senior goalkeeper Vanessa Scotto. It was the first goal of the season for the both Kramer and Daniels.
Penn earned the game winner when Cross scored her second goal of the game in the 60th minute off a pass set up by junior Rachelle Snyder and sophomore Jenna Linden.
