COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado College scored two goals in a span of less than four minutes to beat visiting Loyola College, 2-1, Sunday afternoon at the Colorado College Invitational.

Emily Beans and Tiffany Brown scored at 68:28 and 71:24, respectively, for the Tigers (3-2-1), giving them a 2-0 advantage.

Lina Staropoli scored her first collegiate goal less than five minutes later at 76:07, but it was not enough for the Greyhounds (1-4-1). Staropoli's goal was assisted by Theresa Ferraina.

Loyola outshot Colorado College, 17-12, and had an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks. Brittany Henderson made nine saves in goal for the Greyhounds.
