Women's Soccer At Towson

The Loyola University Maryland women's soccer team opened the 2013 season with a 2-1 victory at Towson University.

Before Loyola: Made four playoff appearances at W.T. Clarke High School... Named the Player of the Year by the Nassau County Girls High School Soccer Coaches Association... Was a member of the All-State and All-County teams, while leading the Rams as a captain for three years... Two-time MVP of the Rams, winning the Joan Case Outstanding Female Athlete Ward... Captain of the Albertson Fury , playing with Greyhounds Rosy Hayes, Charlotte Miller, and classmate Kayla Roundsman... Played varsity lacrosse for the Rams, while being named a two-time All-County Honorable Mention... Also captained the W.T. Clarke High School women's lacrosse team, receiving three varsity letters.

Personal: Nicole Marie Wahlig... Daughter of James and Kathleen Wahlig... Has one sister, Jennifer... Was a member of the National Honor Society and peer mentor group... Was a Scholar Diploma recipient at W.T. Clarke High School... Plans to major in speech pathology.
