In its inaugural Patriot League game, the Loyola women's soccer team fell to Holy Cross 1-0 on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The Loyola University Maryland women's soccer team opened the 2013 season with a 2-1 victory at Towson University.
2013 (Freshman): Played in 15 games, starting in four as a freshman... Made collegiate debut checking in midway through the first half of the season opener at Towson University... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Before Loyola: Scored 25 goals and 24 assists at Watchung Hills Regional High School, helping the Warriors to their first Somerset County Championship title in 2010... Team went on to win the North Jersey Section Two Group Four Championships... For three years straight, she received an award for the top Somerset County Player of the Year... The four-year letter winner and 2012 captain was named to the Third Team All-Somerset County roster her senior season... That same year, named All-Area Girls Soccer Honorable Mention, as well as the New Jersey Girls Soccer Coaches Association All-State... Was the assists leader All-Somerset County as a junior... Named to Second Team All-Skyland Conference All Star junior and senior year.
Personal: Jessica Teresa Soldiviero... Daughter of Teresa and Thomas Soldiviero... Has twin siblings, Victoria and Thomas... Was a member of Watchung Hills Regional High School all-school council and English honor society... Plans to major in speech pathology and special education.
