Peye Garcia is in his second season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Loyola. Last season, he helped the Greyhounds to a 15-5 overall record and a 9-0 conference mark.

Garcia comes to Loyola after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at St. Joesph's. There, he helped the Hawks record the most wins in school history in 2003, their first ever appearance in the A-10 quarterfinals the same year and the conference semi-finals in 2004. Garcia also helped to recruit the 18th and 20th best recruiting classes in the Mid-Atlantic region in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Before coaching at St. Joe's, Garcia spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the men's soccer squad at Delaware.

He has also worked as a part of the Region I Olympic Development Program since 2003 and has been the Under-14's Eastern Pennsylvania State Coach since 2004. Prior to his ODP coaching work in Pennsylvania, Garcia worked as the U14 Delaware Sate Coach from 2001-04. He also worked as the head coach for the FC Delco Tarheels club team this past year.

Garcia spent three years as a member of the University of Massachusetts men's soccer team after transferring from Hartwick College in1996. At UMass, he was a two-year captain and earned all-conference selections in 1997 and 1998. After leaving UMass, Garcia spent a season playing professionally with both the Delaware Wizards (1999-00) and Western Mass Pioneers (2001).

Garcia, 29, received his bachelors degree in Sports Management from UMASS in 2000.
