Assistant Coach

Christy Ganc is in her second season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Loyola. Last season she helped the Greyhounds to a 15-5 overall record and a 9-0 conference mark. Ganc's primary responsibility is to work with the Greyhound goalkeepers.

Ganc came to the Evergreen campus after spending the previous year as the assistant women's soccer coach at Division II Lock Haven.

As a player, Ganc was a member of the St. Joseph's women's soccer team from 1999-2003 where Byford coached in 1999 and 2000. Ganc ranks second in the Hawks all-time record book in career saves and is tied for the school record for most consecutive shutouts. She was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2002, earned the scholar-athlete award from 1999-2003 and was named to the Dean's List for student-athletes five times.

Ganc has worked as a goalkeeper coach for several camps and club teams throughout the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware areas to prepare teams for tournament and regional competition.

Ganc, 25, received her bachelors degree from St. Joseph's in business administration and marketing in 2003.
