2012 Loyola University Maryland Women's Soccer Senior Day Ceremony

2012 (Senior): Saw action in two games, playing over 89 minutes in her final season as a Greyhound...Allowed one goal all season, making three saves and averaging .750 percent... Recorded a win against the Saint Peter's Peacocks, holding the team scoreless with three saves in net (10/5).

2011 (Junior): Appeared in five games after recovering from preseason knee surgery... Allowed just one goal in 235:18 minutes, good for a 0.38 goals-against average... Made nine saves and finished with a 1-1-0 mark... Did not allow a goal in her final 230:28 minutes in net... Picked up a win against Saint Peter's, holding the Peacocks scoreless during her 51:31 in net (10/30).

2010 (Sophomore): Had an excellent sophomore campaign, playing in 18 matches and starting 17... Finished the year with a 1.08 goals against average and five clean sheets... Also combined with Didi Haracic for two more shutouts... Made 94 saves, stopping 83.9-percent of shots on goal she faced... Notched her first collegiate clean sheet against George Washington, making five svaes in an overtime victory... Stopped a career-high 14 saves two days later in a 1-1 tie against La Salle, earning MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honors following the weekend... Made 10 saves at Missouri and then pitched another shutout in a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Saint Louis... Made seven saves in a victory over UMBC and shutout Mount St. Mary's -- both games were overtime victories -- to earn MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honors a second time... Shutout Fairfield and did not allow a goal in 60-plus minutes before yielding to Haracic against Iona... Then had five saves in a 1-0 win over Manhattan, leading the Loyola defense to over 380 minutes of scoreless soccer.

2009 (Freshman): Appeared in six games, making five starts in goal for the Greyhounds in her freshman season... Stopped five shots for the third time of the season in the NCAA College Cup against West Virginia... Named to MAAC Championship All-Tournament Team after allowing just four goals and making 11 saves in three games... Matched career-high with five saves in MAAC Quarterfinals vs. Manhattan as the Greyhounds advanced to the MAAC Semifinals on penalty shots... Made first career start in goal versus Eastern Michigan and stopped five shots... First appeared in a game at Virginia Commonwealth and recorded a save.

High School: Earned five letters - four in soccer and one in basketball - at W.C. Mepham High School in Bellmore, N.Y... Two-year captain of the Pirates... Received All-Nassau County honors as a junior and senior and earned the Howard Gould Award as the county's top goalkeeper in both of those years... Played club for the Albertson Fury '90, helping the team win four-straight state championships... Was the starting goalkeeper in each of those championship games and did not allow a goal.

Personal: Danielle Marie Ippolito... Daughter of Donna and Mark Ippolito... Has two younger siblings, Anthony and Dante... Member of the Women's Premier Soccer League's Long Island Fury in 2008 and 2009, playing alongside current Greyhound teammate Kelly Farrell... Made one start in goal in 2008, making six saves and shutting out the CDSA Future.
