Women's Lacrosse Earns BIG EAST No. 3 Seed, Plays Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C. -

Loyola University Maryland's women's lacrosse team will be the No. 3 seed at this week's BIG EAST Conference Championships hosted by Georgetown University.

The Greyhounds (10-7 overall, 6-2 BIG EAST) will face the host and second-seeded Hoyas on Thursday, May 2, at Multi-Sport Field. The game will start at approximately 8 o'clock; it is slated for 45 minutes following the completion of the first semifinal between top-seeded Syracuse University and fourth-seeded University of Connecticut that begins at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday's semifinal winners will play in the BIG EAST Championship Game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. The title match will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
