Ridley Athletic Complex The Ridley Athletic Complex, the Greyhounds' new home for lacrosse and soccer, is slated to open on March 13 when the Loyola men's lacrosse team hosts Duke.

At Notre Dame: Earned seven varsity letters, four in lacrosse and three in field hockey ... as a freshman earned All-Star honorable mention in the Towson Times ... was a second-team All-Star as a sophomore and earned second-team all-Baltimore City/County in the Baltimore Sun in 2003 ... her 2003 lacrosse team won the IAAM A Conference Championship.

Personal: The daughter of Patricia and Arthur Piraino, Alexandra Ann Piraino was born March 7, 1987 in Baltimore, Md. ... has one sibling, Nick (26), who played lacrosse at Hampden-Sydney College ... intends to major in political science.
