2005 Season: Appeared in all 16 games for a total of 463 minutes ... finished the season with a goals-against average of 12.71 and a saves percentage of .495 ... recorded a total of 96 saves with a season-high of 10 against Maryland.
2004 Season: Appeared in the second half of all 18 games, playing a total of 540 minutes ... finished the season ranked second in the country in saves percentage at .586 and 19th in goals against average at 9.11 ... posted a new career-high of 11 saves vs. North Carolina.
2003 Season: Appeared in all 19 games, splitting time with teammate Kim Lawton ... was ranked first in the nation in saves percentage in .626 ... finished sixth in goals against average at 7.07 ... played a total of 576:55 minutes, all in the second half or in overtime play ... had a career-high of 10 saves against three teams (Penn, Stanford and Syracuse).
At Mt. Hebron: Earned seven varsity letters - four in lacrosse and three in field hockey ... lacrosse team won four state championships ... field hockey team was a two-time state finalist ...was second team all-county and all-metro her junior year ... earned first team all-county, all-metro, all-Extra and an All-America Honorable Mention ... also named second team all-county in field hockey for junior season and first team all-county and all-metro honorable mention her senior season.
Personal: The daughter of Joseph and Margaret Nicolaus, Cynthia Nicolaus was born October 8, 1984 in Baltimore, Md. ... twin sister, Chrissy, is also a member of the Loyola women's lacrosse team ... also has a younger sister, Karen, 17 is a member of the Mount Hebron varsity girls lacrosse team ... majoring in communications.
