Loyola Women's Lacrosse | Patriot League Championships Preview

Loyola women's lacrosse hosts the Patriot League Championships May 6-8, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex. The Greyhounds open play in the semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m. when they host Lehigh University.

Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse defeated American University, 14-8, on March 15, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex.

2018 (Junior)
• Missed six games due to injury
• Played in 15 contests, starting 13 on defense
• Had an assist vs. Holy Cross and Fairfield on transition plays
• Scooped up a career-high four ground balls vs. No. 14 Princeton
• Caused multiple turnovers five times, including three at No. 3 Florida and vs. No. 10 Towson

2017 (Sophomore)
 Scored first goal of the season at American
 Had first career multi-goal game versus #11 Syracuse
 Led the team in assists twice
 Had the most points for the team once
 Earned the most caused turnovers in three games
 Had one hat trick
 Totaled four or more points in one game
 Caused three or more turnovers in one game
 Went 10-consecutive games with a point
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2016 (Freshman)

• Played in 14 games throughout the season
• Scored first career goal vs. American
• Assisted Shannon Aikens’ breakaway goal at Bucknell

• Two-time Team MVP for lacrosse
• Two-time all-league
• Long Island Catholic High School Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year as a senior
• Newsday Preseason CHSAA Girls Lacrosse Player to Watch
• Also played soccer and basketball
• First athlete to be awarded MVP for three difference sports in one school year
• Played club for Long Island Liberty Lacrosse
• Father, Tom, played collegiate football at University of Rhode Island and in the NFL for the New York Jets and the Cincinnati Bengals
• Brother, Michael, was an All-American lacrosse player at Maryland
• Sister, Lauren, won an NCAA Championship in lacrosse at Franklin & Marshall College
