Caroline Hager

Position:
Assistant Coach

Former Greyhound Caroline Hager joined the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach after graduation and was promoted to an assistant for the 2012 season. A 2011 graduate of Loyola, Hager is entering her second season with the Greyhounds and will assist the staff in day-to-day operations, while also working with the attackers.

"Caroline is a nice addition to our staff because of her familiarity with the program," Adams said. "She understands what it means to be a student-athlete here at Loyola and she made valuable contributions to the program as a player. We look forward to keeping her involved with Loyola lacrosse."

Hager started every game her last two seasons and wrapped up her career with 59 goals, 34 assists, 69 points and 35 ground balls. She tallied multiple goals on seven occasions, while she dished out a career-high four assists in a win at Louisville in 2010.

As a junior, the Berwyn, Pa., native had a breakout season for the Greyhounds, recording career-highs in every statistical category. She started all 18 games, recording 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points. Her 30 points ranked tied for fourth on the team that year, while her 14 assists were third.

Hager continued that success as a senior, leading the team in goals twice and assists six times. She finished the year with 15 goals, 14 assists and 29 points, ranking second on the team in assists and sixth in points.
