BALTIMORE, Md. - Student-athletes at Loyola University Maryland have a heavy task each semester, balancing studying for finals and playing their respective sport. Each December, the Loyola women's basketball team enters the height of their season, but that does not discount final exams.

Junior forward Nneka Offodile plays a vital role on the team, leading the Greyhounds in rebounds, averaging 5.2 this season. When the Kent, Ohio, native is not on the basketball court, she is studying biological psychology.

In the second installment of the women's basketball all-access series, Offodile sits down with the athletics department to explain what it takes to succeed on and off the court.

The team created the series to give insight into the life of a Loyola women's basketball student-athlete.
