Loyola is beginning a stretch where it will play four games in the next eight days, including two in three days at home, as the Greyhounds host Georgetown on Thursday.
Stephanie Karcz led the Greyhounds with career-high 25 points in the season-opening win over Cornell, as she went 11-of-13 from the field, and added a team-best five steals.
Izzy Therien had 18 points for her first game, marking the most points for a rookie in their debut game under head coach Joe Logan, and since at least 1990.
Bri Betz-White, the top returning guard in the Patriot League, opened the season with 13 points, hitting all seven of her free throws, and added six assists in the game.
Loyola's 30 points in the third quarter set a program record for points in a quarter.
George Mason Patriots (0-1, 0-0 Atlantic 10)
George Mason opened its season with a loss at No. 24/23 Michigan, 75-61, Friday night.
Nicole Cardano-Hillary, a freshman, led the Patriots with 22 total points, hitting seven of her eight free throws and a game-high five 3-pointers, in the Preseason WNIT game in front of 3,442 fans at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Natalie Butler (13 points) and Jacy Bolton (12) also contributed double figures in scoring, while Tayler Dodson had eight assists against the Wolverines.
George Mason leads the all-time series 6-4, but the two squads haven't met since 1995.
Loyola won the most recent meeting, a 63-55 decision on January 7, 1995, in Baltimore, breaking a stretch of five-straight wins by the Patriots.
This will mark the first time head coach Joe Logan has faced George Mason.
The last time Loyola and George Mason met was on January 5, 1995, with the Greyhounds (9-2 at the time) handing the Patriots (2-8) a 63-55 loss in Baltimore.
Camille Joyner led Loyola with 17 points, while George Mason's Keri Chaconas had a game-high 20 points.
