The Loyola College women's basketball team looks to continue its win streak at Fairfield Sunday. The Greyhounds have won their last five straight and eight of the last nine and hold a 12-7 overall record and 7-2 conference mark. The Stags are 10-10 overall and 4-4 in the conference and are coming off their 81-70 win over Niagara on Friday.

ABOUT THE `HOUNDS
Loyola continues to be led in scoring by Jill Glessner's 14.8 points per game. She also averages a team-high 2.9 assists per game and is third in rebounds at 5.3. She is followed in scoring by Vika Sholokhova who in nine games averaged 11.3 points and a team-best 6.9 rebounds a game. Brittany Dunn follows at 10.4 points, a team-high 1.9 steals and a team-second 2.6 assists a game. Meghan Wood is fourth in scoring at just under ten points, 9.9 a game and is second in boards at 6.7 an outing. Wood shoots a team-high 53.8% from the floor. The remaining Greyhounds average between 6.2 and 1.2 points per game.

Sabra Wrice leads Fairfield in scoring with 14.6 points and game and is second on the team in steals at 1.8 and tied for second in assists with 2.5 an outing. Baendu Lowenthal ranks second in scoring and rebounds at 10.7 points and 5.6 boards a game. Meka Wertz is third in scoring at 9.6 points a game and ties Wrice for second in assists with an average of 2.5 an outing. Stephanie Geehan leads the team in rebounds at 6.6 a game and is fourth in scoring with 6.1 points an outing. The 12 remaining Stags average between 5.3 and zero points per game.

The Stags lead the series with Loyola 15-25. The last meeting posted a Stags win 57-54 in Reitz Arena. Last season, the teams split the conference series with each team winning on the road. Last season was the first time the Greyhounds defeated the Stags at home since the 1995-96 season. Loyola will look to extend that road streak over Fairfield on Sunday.

Junior Vika Sholokhova scored a career-high 22 points including back-to-back three-pointers to cap a 12-2 Loyola run that gave the Greyhounds their largest lead at 64-52 with 5:51 remaining. Loyola made six-of-seven free throws inside the game's final 77 seconds to keep the Gaels at bay. Brittany Dunn added 18 points while Jill Glessner and Erica DiClemente each scored nine. Meghan Wood added eight points, eight rebounds and four steals.
