BALTIMORE - Lafayette College never trailed in the second half, defeating Loyola University Maryland, 58-45, from Reitz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Greyhounds, however, used a 9-0 run to cut the deficit to four, 26-22, sparked by a Brown jumper from behind the arc. Lafayette responded, connecting on five last-minute points to enter the locker room with a 31-22 advantage.
Senior Nicole Krusen capped off a 9-0 run 38-35, seven minutes into the second half, hitting her lone three-point field goal of the night. The offensive rally by the Greyhounds didn’t last long, as Lafayette scored its next four-unanswered points from the charity stripe.
