Women's Basketball Senior Day vs. Marist

The Loyola University Maryland celebrated Senior Day against Marist on February, 26, 2012.

High School: Received All-Met First Team honors from The Washington Post as a senior at Gaithersburg High School... Guided the Trojans to their first-ever Maryland Class 4A State Championship in 2011 and a state final appearance in 2010... Was a 1,000-plus point scorer... Honored as the Montgomery County Gazette Player of the Year as a senior... Led the Trojans in scoring and assists all four years of high school and helped them win back-to-back region titles her junior and senior years... Played for the Maryland Flames and Lady Panthers AAU teams, helping the Flames finish second in the United States in 2008 and reach the Sweet 16 of the national tournament three-straight years... Also played volleyball and lacrosse... Received the student-athlete award as a senior.

Personal: Kara Sophia Marshall... Daughter of Ben and Dottie Marshall... Has four sisters and two brothers... Both brothers played baseball at the University of Richmond and one currently plays in the Atlanta Braves farm system.
