Dooley And Ndjock Named To All-Patriot League Teams

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Loyola University Maryland senior Stephen Dooley was named to the All-Patriot League First Team and sophomore Larry Ndjock was voted to the second team, as announced by the league office Monday.
Dooley capped off his career with his third-straight all-conference honor. The midfielder from Portstewart, Northern Ireland, was a first-team All-MAAC selection as a sophomore and a second-team honoree as a junior.
A member of the Preseason Patriot League Team this year, Dooley finished the year ranked third in the League with six assists and 10th with 10 points. He scored the game-winning goal while Loyola played a man down in a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Princeton. He also assisted both of the Greyhounds' goals in a 2-0 win over Campbell and Ndjock's game-tying goal in a 1-1 tie at Colgate.
With 22 assists throughout his four seasons, Dooley concluded his career ranked eighth in Loyola's NCAA Division I record book for career assists, while he is tied with Nick Mangione (1976-79) for 11th in all-time program history. He was also named a Senior CLASS Award Candidate this year, while he has was an NSCAA All-North Atlantic Region Third Team selection and NSCAA Scholar All-America Third Team honoree in 2012.
Ndjock, the Patriot League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, led the league with 12 goals, 25 points and six game-winning goals this season, while he also ranks second in the NCAA with 0.86 goals per game and fourth with 1.79 points per game. A two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, Ndjock notched his first career hat trick in a 5-3 win at La Salle, sparking a five-game scoring streak that led the Greyhounds to their best start to the season since 2008. He also recorded five points in a 3-1 win over American, marking the most points a Patriot League player put up in conference play this year.
The 2012 MAAC Rookie of the Year and first-team all-conference selection, Ndjock was named to the College Soccer News Preseason All-America Third Team this year and was included on the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week in back-to-back weeks (Sept. 11 and Sept. 18).
Throughout his career, the Berlin, Germany, native has 25 goals and 54 points. His 25 goals rank 14th among Loyola's NCAA Division I career goals leaders.
