MAAC Championships
• This marks the 24th-straight year that Loyola has advanced to the MAAC Championships.
• The Greyhounds hold an overall record of 32-11 in the tournament, including winning a league-best 12 tournament titles - their last coming in 2009. 

Regionally Ranked Rematch
• Niagara and Loyola are the two top-ranked teams in the North Atlantic Region.
• The Purple Eagles earned a 2-1 win vs. the Greyhounds earlier this year when Rene DeZorzi converted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.  

Niagara Purple Eagles
• The Purple Eagles advanced to the championship game after knocking off second-seeded Siena, 2-1, just 15 seconds into overtime Thursday night. 
• Callum Willmott leads Niagara with eight goals and three assists, while Bryan Da Cruz has a team-best six assists. 
• In goal, Brett Petricek - the MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year - has posted a 0.77 GAA and a .853 save percentage, stopping 81 shots, while allowing just 14 goals. 

Series vs. The Purple Eagles
• Loyola enjoys a 21-3-1 advantage over Niagara in the all-time series.
• The Greyhounds and Purple Eagles tied, 1-1, last season at Ridley Athletic Complex and the Purple Eagles earned a 2-1 win this year on a late PK in Niagara, N.Y.
• Niagara’s other two wins came in 2006 (1-0) and 1998 (2-1).

Hot Streak
• After dropping their first MAAC contest at Niagara, the Greyhounds have responded to win eight straight, their longest win streak since winning 13 consecutive in 2008.

Last Time Out - MAAC Semifinals
• No. 1-seed Loyola advanced to the title game with a 1-0 win over No. 4-seed Iona.
• Sophomore Connor Thompson scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute after senior Zach Tweddell played a free kick into the box. Junior Jamie Libby attempted a header but ultimately played a ball into the air for Thompson to put into the top right corner.
• Junior Thurman Van Riper stopped a career-best nine shots while the defense earned its eighth shutout of the year.
