BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men’s soccer program has announced that it will host two separate one-day Winter Identification Camps on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 and Saturday, Jan. 11 ,2014, at Ridley Athletic Complex.

The objective of the camp is to provide prospective student-athletes with the opportunity to train, play and be coached by the Loyola men's soccer staff in a highly competitive training and playing environment, while being exposed to a Division I men's soccer atmosphere.

The Winter ID Camps are a one-day experience open for all high school players between 9-12 grades who have aspirations to compete at the college level. The camp will provide a quality training environment at the extensive Ridley Athletic Complex and will give players the opportunity to experience an NCAA Division I program firsthand.

“Our ID camps have been a big success the last few years,” head coach Mark Mettrick said. “Our entire coaching staff works the camp and it is a real opportunity for players to get a feel for Loyola University, experience our facilities, get to know our coaches and experience the type of training sessions run in college soccer.  A number of players on our current team have benefitted from their participation in our ID camp.”
