Loyola Men's Soccer
• Loyola is in its 71st season as a men's soccer program, while this is the Greyhounds' 32nd year of competition as an NCAA Division I program.
• It is also Loyola's inaugural year as a member of the Patriot League.
• The Greyhounds were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference for 24 years, posting an overall record of 167-24-8 in conference games from 1989-2012. Loyola also claimed eight regular-season titles and four MAAC Tournament titles in that time. 

Home Openers
• Quinnipiac will be the third team to open their home schedule versus the Greyhounds.
• Loyola tied Saint Joseph's, 1-1, in both teams' season opener, while the Greyhounds gave La Salle a 5-3 loss in the Explorers' home opener. 

Loyola Greyhounds
• The Greyhounds, unbeaten so far this year, are coming off back-to-back wins.
• Sophomore Larry Ndjock leads the offense with a Patriot League-best four goals, while junior Connor Thompson is second on the team with three goals.
• In goal, freshman Jordan Watson made his first collegiate start versus Saint Francis (Pa.) 

Quinnipiac Bobcats
• Quinnipiac enters the contest looking for its first win of the season. The Bobcats are coming off a 2-2 tie at Boston College and a 1-1 draw at Lafayette, after opening the season with a 3-2 loss at Providence.
• Simon Hinde leads the way with three goals, while Machel Baker has two goals and two assists.
• In goal, Borja Angoitia has played all 310 minutes posting a 1.74 GAA and .625 save percentage.

Last Meeting
Jamie Libby headed in a free kick from Connor Thompson in the 94th minute to lead Loyola to a 2-1 overtime victory against Quinnipiac at Ridley Athletic Complex on September 8, 2012.
• The Bobcats had scored first, in the 46th minute, but Larry Ndjock tied the game with a goal in the 84th minute.

• Loyola will return to Ridley Athletic Complex to open a four-game homestand.
• The Greyhounds will open with Campbell on Saturday, Sept. 14, before hosting Princeton (Wed., Sept. 18) and UMBC (Sat., Sept. 21). The homestand will conclude when Loyola begins Patriot League play with a game against Holy Cross on Saturday, Sept. 28.
