HAMDEN, CT - The Loyola University Maryland men’s soccer team saw its five-game unbeaten streak come to an end Saturday afternoon at Quinnipiac, as the Bobcats handed the Greyhounds a 1-0 loss at Quinnipiac Soccer Field.
William Cavallo scored the game-winner in the 53rd minute to lift the Bobcats to victory.

In the second half, Cavallo took a shot that hit off the top of the cross bar before bouncing in to give Quinnipiac a 1-0 advantage in the 53rd minute.
The Greyhounds spent the rest of the half looking for the equalizer, but a header by sophomore transfer Geaton Caltabiano hit the cross bar in the 74th minute. A header by sophomore Jamie Libby was then called off due to a foul in the 81st minute and the Bobcats held on for the win.
