Men's Lacrosse To Be Featured Three Times On ABC-2/ESPNU
Nov. 12, 2007
Baltimore, Md. - Baltimore's ABC-2 and ESPNU will air three regular season Loyola College men's lacrosse games, the stations announced today. Among those games includes Loyola's home matches with Duke and Johns Hopkins and its early-season battle at Towson.
"It's nice to have an early-season game at Towson and our regular season finale with Johns Hopkins on ABC 2 and ESPNU," says Loyola Head Coach Charley Toomey. "Those are big Charles Street Battles and we're happy to get the local and national exposure."
The Greyhounds, who open the year with Notre Dame at home on February 16, will open the ABC-2/ESPNU broadcast schedule the following week at Towson. The Greyhounds will then host Duke in a televised game on Saturday, March 8 in a re-match of last year's First Four game in which Loyola knocked off the top-ranked Blue Devils.
The ABC-2/ESPNU broadcast schedule closes with the Greyhounds when they host Johns Hopkins at Diane Geppi-Aikens Field on Saturday, May 3.
