Baltimore, Md. - With Tuesday's game versus Marist postponed, Loyola's men's lacrosse team now turns its attention to No. 4 Duke and this Saturday's showdown with the Blue Devils. The two teams meet up at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C. and faceoff at 3 p.m. Listen

The Greyhounds will be looking for their first win of the year and face their third ranked opponent to start the season. After a pair of two-goal losses to No. 12 Towson and No. 19 Penn State, Loyola will need to put a complete game together against a red-hot Duke team.

The Blue Devils are off to a 5-0 start with their last two wins against Maryland and Penn State. Freshman Zack Greer leads Duke and the nation in scoring with 21 goals this season and is coming off a five-goal effort against Penn State.

Loyola will counter with Duke transfer Matt Monfett, who is coming off a four-goal game against the Nittany Lions. Both Monfett and sophomore Andrew Spack have four goals to lead the Greyhounds this season.

Loyola has won three of its last five games with Duke, but the Blue Devils came to Diane Geppi-Aikens Field last year and handed Loyola an 11-3 loss. The score, however, did not tell an accurate story as Loyola won 11-of-15 faceoffs and equaled Duke's shot total with 33 shots on the day. Duke goalie Aaron Fenton was the difference, making 18 saves to earn the win.

The Greyhounds will try to get to Fenton early in this year's match-up. Loyola has six goals in the first-quarter of games this season, more than any other quarter. The Greyhounds will also look to goalie Michael Fretwell, who made 19 saves in their season-opener against Towson.

Saturday's game is Loyola's final road contest in the month of March. The Greyhounds, who will play their next three games at home, are playing back-to-back road games for the first and last time this season.
