Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse defeated Bucknell University, 7-6, in double-overtime on Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Patriot League Semifinals.
Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse got a goal from Zach Herreweyers with 9.9 seconds left in regulation to beat Boston University, 13-12, on Saturday, April 16, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Herreweyers scored four goals, and Pat Spencer matched his career-high with six assists.

Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse defeated Bucknell University, 14-3, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Pat Spencer scored a goal and had six assists, and Jordan Germershausen tallied three goals. Jacob Stover made 12 saves and allowed just one goal in 49-plus minutes for Loyola.

2017 (Junior): Was the Greyhounds’ primary long-stick midfielder throughout the season, finishing with career-highs in points (5), assists (3), ground balls (38) and caused turnovers (15)… Was third on the team in ground balls and tied for third in caused turnovers… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… Picked up a career-best six ground balls against Virginia (2/11) in the season-opener… Had four versus Johns Hopkins (2/18) and caused a turnover in each of the first two games… Tallied four ground balls and two caused turnovers at Towson (3/1)… Scored a goal and had an assist against Holy Cross (3/4)… Later had five ground balls and scored a goal against Navy (3/18), earning Corvias Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors after the contest… Caused two turnovers and picked up three ground balls versus Georgetown (3/22)… Had an assist, four ground balls and a caused turnover versus Colgate (4/1)… Posted three ground balls and caused two turnovers at Army West Point (4/21)… Had a caused turnover and two ground balls at Ohio State (5/14) in the NCAA First Round.
2016 (Sophomore): Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.. Saw action in all 18 games as a long-stick midfielder… Scored three goals, picked up 11 ground balls and had five caused turnovers… Picked up four ground balls against Lafayette (2/27)… Caused a turnover versus Towson in the regular-season meeting (3/2)… Picked up a pair of ground balls at Holy Cross (3/5)… Scored his first goal of the season at Colgate (4/3) and had another two games later versus Boston University (4/16)… Posted an early transition goal in the Patriot League semifinals against Bucknell (4/29) and also had three ground balls and a caused turnover against the Bison.
2015 (Freshman): Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll... Played in all 15 games during his first season on the Loyola campus as a member of the Greyhounds' rope unit... Had two goals and two assists to go with eight ground balls and two caused turnovers... Did all of his scoring in two games, at Army West Point (3/14) and against Navy (4/4)... Had a goal and an assist in each of those contests... Posted two ground balls and caused a turnover at Lafayette (3/21) and had two ground balls versus Colgate (3/28).
Before Loyola: Was a three-sport student-athlete at Severn School, participating in lacrosse, soccer and swimming… Earned All-Metro Second Team, All-Conference and All-Anne Arundel County honors as a senior… Was an All-Conference and All-Anne Arundel County soccer player, as well… Played club lacrosse for Team Smartlink 2014, helping the program win the King of the Hill title.
Personal: Member of the National Honor Society and was a recipient of Severn’s Mona Lisa Award… Born in Annapolis, Maryland.
