Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse defeated Bucknell University, 14-3, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Pat Spencer scored a goal and had six assists, and Jordan Germershausen tallied three goals. Jacob Stover made 12 saves and allowed just one goal in 49-plus minutes for Loyola.

2016 (Freshman): Played in three games for the Greyhounds during his first season at Loyola… Made his collegiate debut, playing on the second midfield unit, at Georgetown (3/23)… Also played with the second midfield and had three shots to go with a caused turnover against Bucknell (3/26)… Entered the game at Colgate (4/3).
Before Loyola: Earned four letters in lacrosse at Beverly Hills (California) High School where he was named the 2014 Ocean League Offensive Player of the Year... Scored 51 goals and had 20 assists as a senior in 2015... Played club lacrosse for several organizations, including the Los Angeles Lazers, Goon Alpha Elite, Vegas Starz Elite, West Coast Starz and Adrenaline Tropics... Was an Adrenaline All-American.
Personal: Samuel William Edwards... Born in Beverly Hills, California... Son of Michele and Rob Edwards... Has an older brother, Jay... Will be the first Loyola men's lacrosse player from Southern California and the second on the roster from the Golden State (Will Fredericks, 2010-13).
