Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse got a goal from Zach Herreweyers with 9.9 seconds left in regulation to beat Boston University, 13-12, on Saturday, April 16, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Herreweyers scored four goals, and Pat Spencer matched his career-high with six assists.

Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse defeated Bucknell University, 14-3, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Pat Spencer scored a goal and had six assists, and Jordan Germershausen tallied three goals. Jacob Stover made 12 saves and allowed just one goal in 49-plus minutes for Loyola.

Loyola men's lacrosse defeated the U.S. Military Academy, 14-6, to win the 2016 Patriot League Championship.
2016 (Junior): Earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors, in addition to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recognition… Started all 18 games on the Greyhounds’ first midfield and finished the year with 15 goals, five assists and 20 points… Posted two goals against Lafayette (2/27) and then had a pair to go with an assist versus Towson (3/2)… Scored twice at Georgetown (3/23)… His lone caused turnover of the season was a key one, as he put a ball on the ground and scooped it up on a ride against Boston University (4/16), setting up the game-winning goal… Had a goal and an assist in both the Patriot League Championship Game against Army West Point (5/1) and the NCAA First Round versus Duke (5/14)… Then scored against Towson in the NCAA Quarterfinals (5/22) before posting a pair of goals to go with two ground balls versus North Carolina in the NCAA Semifinals (5/28).
2015 (Sophomore): Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll... Started all 15 games in the Greyhounds' midfield unit and finished fourth on the team in points (30) and assists (13) while checking in at fifth in goals (17)... Had at least one point in 14-of-15 games and scored two or more in 10-of-15... Had Opened the season with a three-goal game against Virginia (2/7) and then had a goal and an assist versus Penn State (2/14)... Set a career-high, one he would match three more times during the year, with a pair of assists at Towson (2/18)... Scored twice and had an assist at Duke (3/7) before turning in a goal and two helpers at Army (3/14)... Scored three times, twice in the fourth quarter, against Georgetown (3/18)... Set a career-best with four points on two goals and two assists, versus Navy (4/4).
2014 (Freshman): Played in all 16 games in his first year at Loyola and started the final seven games of the seaosn on the Greyhounds' first midfield unit... Finished the year with six goals and four assists... Scored twice on his first two collegiate shots in the season-opener at Virginia (2/6)... Had an assist versus Towson (2/19)... Scored twice and had an assist for a season-high three points against Lafayette (3/22)... Tallied a goal and an assist versus Boston University (4/12)... Scored an NCAA Tournament goal in the First Round against Albany (5/10).
Before Loyola: Earned Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2013 at Saint Mary's Ryken High School... He also was a 2012 Under Armour Underclass All-American, and he helped the Knights reach the semifinals of the WCAC each of his four years at the school... As a senior, Dennis posted 37 goals and 20 assists, a year after recording 21 and 20... In club lacrosse, Dennis played for Madlax and was a 2011 Top 205 All-Star.
