Loyola Men's Lacrosse vs. Army West Point | Patriot League Championship Game

Loyola men's lacrosse defeated the U.S. Military Academy, 14-6, to win the 2016 Patriot League Championship.

2017 (Junior): Saw action in eight games on faceoffs for the Greyhounds… went 11-f-27 (.407) with eight ground balls… Won 2-of-3 at Lafayette (2/25) and then won 3-of-4 with three ground balls at Duke (3/11)… Scored his first collegiate goal against Lehigh (4/8)… Won 3-of-7 with a pair of ground balls against Holy Cross in the Patriot League Semifinals (4/28).

2016 (Sophomore): Played in 14 games… Went 42-of-94 (.447) with 24 ground balls on faceoffs… Went 3-of-5 against Virginia (2/13) in the season-opener… Then won 7-of-12 with five ground balls to jumpstart the Greyhounds’ possession game against Johns Hopkins (2/20)… Took all but two of the faceoffs at Holy Cross (3/5), winning a career-best 14-of-21 with nine ground balls.

2015 (Freshman): Saw action on faceoffs for the Greyhounds in four games, going 4-of-12 in his first season… Made his collegiate debut against Penn State (2/14) and later played versus Army West Point (3/13)… Won all four of his restarts at Lafayette (3/21).

Before Loyola: Was a three-year starter at Iona Prep in New Rochelle, New York… Named the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) Faceoff Man of the Year his sophomore, junior and senior seasons… Also named the Hudson Valley’s Faceoff Man of the Year in 2014… Earned All-League First Team honors in 2013 and 2014… Set Iona Prep’s program record for faceoff winning percentage, faceoffs taken and ground balls… Won 72 percent of faceoffs as a senior in 2014, picking up a team-high 212 ground balls… Also scored 30 goals and assisted on 10 that year… Helped the Gaels win the 2014 Metro City title… Picked up 155 ground balls as junior… Played club lacrosse for the After Gaels, helping his team win the 2013 Summer SoundShore Championship.

Personal: Was a coach for Top Side Lacrosse.
